Wow! Ok, so, no question about it. This is the biggest week to date for me as far as new releases go. I typically average around 20 books a week. This week? 37! Why? Because a whole bunch of Marvel books I just got caught up on happened to come out this week. I guess it’s soon going to be time for me to start paring down my pull list. Not this week though. So, all these books, but what am I excited for? Well, we’ve got new issues of Aquaman, Justice League, Teen Titans, Powers: The Bureau, The Bounce, Sex, Deadpool, Guardians of the Galaxy and Hawkeye. We’ve got the debut issue of Batman/Superman. Then getting into more story specifics, we have the follow up to last month’s Justice League of America shocker, the Talon/Birds of Prey crossover continues in Talon #9, and the Masks limited series comes to a close with issue #8. For a full list of this week’s new releases, head on over to Comic List.

Another new week and a whole bunch of new comics. This week comes with a slight disappointment however as the Arrow digital first TV tie-in comic appears to now be on hiatus, presumably until we get closer to the beginning of season 2. That doesn’t mean there’s nothing to look forward to this week. New issues of Red Hood and the Outlaws, Supergirl, Wonder Woman, Invincible, Captain Marvel (which I’ve only just caught up on), Indestructible Hulk, Morbius: The Living Vampire and Thunderbolts. The Birds of Prey/Talon crossover continues in Birds of Prey #21 and, following last week’s wonderful Batgirl #21, we have a Batgirl issue of (the post-Robin) Batman and Robin. As always, for the full list of this week’s new releases head over to Comic List.

Wednesday is here! And I think this is easily the most varied week I’ve had, at least as far as publishers go, with books from a total of seven separate publishers this week, including two I’ve never bought books from. Most exciting to me this week; new issues of Suicide Squad, The Walking Dead and Deadpool; the debut of Superman Unchained; the start of the Batman: Zero Year storyline; and the follow up to the fantastic first issue of Dream Merchant. A little late getting this up this week, I’ve had some inconvenient work hours, but, here we go. After a relatively light week last week, there’s actually quite a bit to get me interested here. Earth 2 and Thunderbolts continue to move in interesting if not perfect directions. The Phantom Stranger gets a title change which is surely a harbinger of things to come. Green Lantern kicks off its post-Geoff Johns-era. The second issue of The Movement comes on the heels of a very strong debut issue. We have the end of one Daredevil limited and the beginning of another. And we have the debut issue of a new digital first book, Widowed, from what appears to be a brand new publisher, Shark Face Comics (feel free to correct me if I’m wrong on that). Of course, this is just what I picked up. For the full list of the week’s releases head over to Comic List.

Also, a special note here. Starting this week I’m going to be tweeting a little something about each book after I finish it. It may be insightful. It may be funny (probably just to me). Or it may just be weird or stupid. So , if you’re interested in my inane remarks on the weeks new releases, or random Malcolm Reynolds quotes as I rewatch Firefly, follow me on Twitter @KehtaamuNgetal.

Well, it’s the fifth new comic book day for the month of May, and it seems I’ve got a pretty light week. This weeks total is actually fewer books then I usually pick up on a weekly basis from DC Comics alone. So, what have we got? Four Anne’s from DC and the road to the Trinity War continues in Justice League of America #4. Two personal favorites from Marvel. And, once again with none of my regular non-Marvel/non-DC books out his week, I’m checking out a couple new titles from Vertigo an Boom! Studios. ¬†As always, head over to Comic List for the full list of this week’s new releases.

Wednesday is here and as always that means it’s time for new comics. And I have to say, this is looking like it’s going to be an interesting week. First and foremost, the finale of Wrath of the First Lantern is here, with not just one, but three Lantern-verse books, headlined by the 78-page Green Lantern #20, the last issue of the series to be written by Geoff Johns. Then, the road to the Trinity War continues in Justice League #20 and Justice League Dark #20. On top of that we have new issues in some of my personal favorites, Powers: The Bureau, Sex and Deadpool. And finally, not to be forgotten, the debuts of The Green Team: Teen Trillionaires; the counterpart to The Movement, which debuted a few weeks ago and which I was very impressed by, and The Bounce; the new book from Sex writer Joe Casey. For the full list of this weeks new releases check out Comic List.

Another Wednesday, another new comic book day. As always I’m looking forward to all of the Bat-books because I just love that segment of the DCU. That said, I’m definitely looking to Supergirl, Thunderbolts and Wonder Woman as potential stands out this week. Also this week, the final issue of Sword of Sorcery. I’m a little disappointed as I thought the book had potential, but hopefully it’ll wrap up nicely and something better will fill the void. Speaking of filling voids, I was lacking a regular non-Marvel/non-DC book this week, so I took a closer look at the new #1’s and settled on Dream Merchant and Doomsday.1. I haven’t decided which one I’ll be reviewing, maybe the one I like best, maybe both, we’ll all just have to wait and see. For all this week’s new releases, check out Comic List.
