Archive for the ‘This Week in The New 52’ Category

All right, so if you’ve been keeping an eye on things here, then you’ve probably noticed that there wasn’t a “This Week in The New 52” this past week. Well, the truth there is that, for the time being at least, I’m going to be putting that column on hold. Things at my full-time job are actually getting busy for the first time in a few months and within the last week I’ve begun doing some things to improve my own life (it’s called exercise!). So between that, actually trying to read all the comics I buy for “The Stack”, I just don’t really have the inclination to summarize a dozen books every week. Plus, Injustice: Gods Among Us came out this week, so I will be soon be getting my hands on that and a large chunk of my time will likely disappear.

Now, that said, I am still reading all the New 52 books, so you are all welcome to tweet me @KehtaamuNgetal if ou want to find out what’s going on in a particular book, get my thoughts on a title beyond the star rating I give in “Picks of the Week”, or get that star rating before my “Picks of the Week” goes up.

OK, so I’m putting this up a bit later than I had planned, but this is the first time I’m doing this so I haven’t gotten into a routine yet. Basically, the idea here is that, since I’m currently reading all of the New 52 books from DC Comics, which I’m sure is something not everyone is doing, I thought I’d put up some brief accounts of what happened in each of the week’s new releases. Now, I’m going to try to not get to detailed with these, mostly because I’ll be doing an average of 13 of them every week, but there are going to be SPOILERS, if not for every book, at least for some. But, I think that’s OK  I’m putting this up 5 days after release so I imagine, most people who might actually read this have already read the books on this list that they plan on reading. What this is really meant to be is an opportunity for people to keep up on what’s happening in the books they aren’t reading so when the inevitable crossovers happen, they’re up to date. So, enjoy and again, SPOILERS ahead.
